“PledgeMe is proud to be New Zealand’s busiest equity crowdfunding platform, and we’re looking forward to the other couple of campaigns currently running pushing to join these two as successes.”

According to PledgMe, two active campaigns, Sorbet and Angel Food, have both utilised their existing customer bases to build “amazing crowds” and successful equity crowdfunding campaigns.

“Both Sorbet and Angel Food have done a fantastic job of getting their customers to hop on board and invest. This is what crowdfunding is all about,” said Anna. “We’re really happy to see awesome female founders get the funding they need to help them grow their companies.”

angel FoodAngel Food has a minimum goal of $75,000 and currently has over $116,000 pledged with another week left to run. Sorbet just hit their goal of $150,000 today after launching their campaign less than a week ago.

Sorbet founder Brianne West stated that over 65 percent of investors are existing customers.

“This is exactly why we chose to crowdfund. We are so delighted to have almost 100 new team members join our fold, helping us save the world.”

Both campaigns are still live on the PledgeMe platform.
