Beer Industry Innovator SYNEK Launches Nationwide Tour Following $2.5M Series Seed Round

Following it’s $2.5 million Series Seed Preferred round funded by Arsenal Capital ManagementSYNEK (‘sin-eck’), the developer of the FDA-approved SYNEK Draft System – a portable countertop beer dispenser that can be filled from any tap – today launched its four-month-long Great North American Expedition tour that will visit 35 cities in the U.S. and abroad.

Synek 2The tour celebrates the official product launch of SYNEK as well as the Beer Revolution, which began in St. Louis in late June. SYNEK founder, Steve Young, stated:

“SYNEK will fuel the craft beer industry. It provides anyone with direct access to thousands of great brews, and revolutionizes the way beer is enjoyed.”

Arsenal Capital Management is funding the entirety of a $2.5 million seed round for SYNEK, which was advised by Virtova, LLC. Pete Reinecke, managing director of Arsenal Capital Management (ACM), shared:

“We’re thrilled to invest in Steve and SYNEK’s ground-breaking product. Taking their vision to reality is going to disrupt the entire beer industry, in the same way Keurig did with coffee. And the opportunity to invest in SYNEK fits the ACM investment model very well.”

Steve YoungThe kickoff event, held June 25, consisted of unlimited beer (with selections from more than 10 of St. Louis’ leading craft brewers), food, merchandise, and live entertainment. Other tour stops will include similar events. Jake Hafner, owner of Civil Life Brewing Company, added:

“This is an exciting time for small brewers. Partnering with SYNEK allows our customers easy access to any and all of our drafts. I even bought one for myself for my own home use.”
