In an effort to give its customers new fuel of choice, biofuel, UK-based biodiesel manufacturer and supplier Fuller-Fuel has launched an equity crowdfunding campaign on Funding Tree to raise at least £110,000 for more advanced filling stations.
According to its description, Fuller-Fuel, which was founded by Paul Fullerton in 2011, handles every aspect of the process, from manufacturing the fuel at its headquarters in Widnes, to selling direct to members of public and companies from its three outlets in Widnes, Aintree and Swinton.
The company shared:
“Here at Fuller-Fuel we are able to offer more than just biodiesel, we offer a more affordable and greener way of living. Fuller-Fuel currently has many contracts with companies in and around the northwest to supply there fleet vehicles with biodiesel and there business with bioheat.
“In addition to this we also supply both products to members of the public. Fuller-Fuel also has a constantly expanding waste oil collection service which consists of large chain outlets all the way down to independent restaurants. If you would like to join these firms then please get in touch if we haven’t already got in touch with you.”
While the company produces over 30,000 liters of biodiesel every day (11 million liters a year) and sells 45,000 liters of fuel a month worth £50,000 in sales (£3,300 profit), it currently doesn’t use its manufacturing facilities to full capacity due to only having three fueling stations.
With the £110,000 loan investment (which will spread over the course of 60 months), Fuller-Fuel will be able to serve more customers by adding two additional outlets in the North West before establishing more to help the business become one of the industry’s leading competitors. This will help sales reach over 1 million in 2016 and £1.3 million in 2017 with profits of £111,325 and £182,410.
Fuller-Fuel’s campaign is set to close in mid-August.
