Real estate crowdfunding platform PeerRealty announced today that it is now accepting investments from accredited investors interested in the Ameritus Real Estate Fund. The fund is operated by Ameritus LLC, a Chicago-based real estate investment management company which intends to co-invest with joint venture partners to make investments in office, industrial, market-rate apartment, and retail properties located in greater Chicago and Southeast Wisconsin.

PeerRealty investors now have the opportunity to invest in a fund that has already acquired over a half-dozen office properties in Chicago’s River North, West Loop and North Shore submarkets. The fund has acquired the properties located at 213 W. Institute Place, a 150,000 square foot creative loft office building in Chicago’s River North, and 549 W. Randolph, a 100,000 square foot creative loft office building in Chicago’s West Loop. The fund has also acquired a 340,000 square foot portfolio of six single story office and flex industrial assets along Chicago’s North Shore, including assets in Skokie, Wilmette, Des Plaines, Northfield, Northbrook and Bannockburn, Illinois. Additionally, the fund has acquired a 30-car parking lot adjacent to 213 W.
