Lending Club (NYSE: LC), the largest marketplace lending platform in the U.S., recently released a new infographic that shares details about small business financing.
The platform revealed that out of 28 million U.S. small businesses 44% of owners want financing but can’t get the right amount they need. The other 55% stated that if they could the proper financing, they would hire at least one more person. It was also revealed:
“If each business who can’t get funding could, and each business who wanted to hire an employee hired just one, together, they would create 3 million jobs. That would cut the U.S. unemployment rate by one third!”
