German investment crowdfunding platform Companisto has launched its self crowdfunding round, presently only available to registered users or “companists”. Management described the initiative as “another chapter in [their] company’s history.”
Details of the offer were not immediately available as all information was only available to existing site users. The offer is expected to become available to a broader audience in the coming days.

Companisto is the largest investment crowdfunding platform by total amount raised in Germany, Austria and Switzerland. Recently, Companisto was recognized as the most active venture capital provider in Germany.
More than a few investment crowdfunding platforms have used their own services to raise growth capital – some have done so on multiple occasions.
