cashpresso Recognized as Best Fintech Startup 2017

Austrian Fintech startup Credi2 GmbH, operating under the brand cashpresso, has received recognition as the Best Fintech Startup 2017 as part of the Banking and Insurance Summit held in Berlin, Germany this week. According to cashpresso, this year approximately 120,000 customers evaluated the 184 participating companies.

“We launched cashpresso to the market late last year and are very pleased to have received the first year this award,” said Daniel Strieder, CEO of cashpresso. “The good ratings are indicative of the fairness and transparency of the credit provided to our customers … cashpresso has been very well received.”

cashpresso offers its customers a traditional credit facility of up to €1,500 which can be applied for using the online portal or the cashpresso app within 10 minutes including approval. A strict credit check on the major credit bureaus as Schufa or Creditreform is completed very quickly. The only cost for a cashpresso loan is the annual percentage rate of 9.99%. There are no account management, processing fees or other hidden costs involved with the cashpresso loan process.

The online lender plans to integrate as a financing solution at online stores as well along with its own cashpresso credit card.

Daniel Strieder, Michael Handler and Jörg Skornschek founded the Credi2 GmbH in 2015 and offer cashpresso to German and Austrian consumers since September 2016.
