Invesdor has launched its first crowdfunding offer for a Swedish startup. Based in Helsinki, Invesdor has previously listed crowdfunded securities for campaigns in Finland, the UK and Norway. Invesdor’s first issuer is for Swedish start-up
TidyApp, a mobile platform for domestic services. The company is seeking SEK 3 million for 16.73% equity in the firm to accelerate growth of their platform. As of today, SEK 1 million has been committed.
TidyApp is a service that automatically matches independent cleaning partners with customers based on the customer’s specific needs. TidyApp handles everything from background checks of cleaning partners and quality assurance to invoicing, taxes and insurance. The new funds will be used for marketing and further development of the online platform.
TidyApp is also said to be focusing on adding partner services to the app who may enhance the customer experience when it comes to domestic services. Existing partners include Mathem for food delivery services and Glue for digital locks. Services like window cleaning, baby-sitting and laundry are in the queue to be added.
TidyApp’s mission is to become the go-to-platform for domestic services. Currently, TidyApp offers home cleaning services in the metropolitan areas of Stockholm, Gothenburg and Malmoe but more geographies will be added in the future.
“We have grown rapidly and with additional funding we can accelerate growth further. Demand for our service is strong and more and more customers discover how easy it is to book a cleaner through the app,” explains Mikael Mortensen, CEO and founder of TidyApp.
Last year TidyApp had a turnover of almost SEK 5 million kronor and the forecast for 2017 is SEK 15 million.
“We have many investors in Sweden and we are extremely pleased to now bring them a Swedish company. We think TidyApp has a really interesting proposition and they are very well suited to raise expansion capital through our platform,” stated Peter Moore, Equity Director for Sweden and Norway.
Invesdor has crowdfunded €32 million in 85 rounds since inception. The Invesdor network includes more than 60,000 registered investors around the globe.
