CrowdExplorer Wins Fintech Award at Digitale Innovations Competition

CrowdExplorer, a marketplace for “Crowd-investing”, has won the special prize for “Fintech” at this year’s “Digitale Innovations” competition.

The startup from Berlin is working on their mission of becoming the first international broker for crowdfunding and alternative finance. At this year’s IFA in Berlin, the founders presented the beta version platform with 23 partners and more than 70 active offers.

CrowdExplorer is designed to provide investors with a platform to compare access to the international Crowd Investments. CrowdExplorer has launched with the following four categories: Equity, Real Estate, Loans and P2P lending. The Marketplace offers a quick overview of the website and existing mobile apps (Android / iOS). In addition, users may sort offers through various “filters” according to personal preferences.

“We are very proud of this award and we are reassured by the jury’s decision that a marketplace such as CrowdExplorer is an important building block to further promote the topic of Crowdinvesting in Germany,” stated Sebastian Vetter.

CrowdExplorer says that German investors remain cautious towards new forms of finance in contrast to other countries. CrowdExplorer was founded with the goal of establishing a central contact point, which contains all necessary information and offers.

“We believe that the existing market potential can be exploited even more. After all, private investors usually look for investment offers with short maturities and low risk. The digitization of the distribution of real estate, consumer and SME loans is in our opinion only the beginning,” added Vetter.
