Innovate Finance has announced changes to its Board of Directors as well as an executive change. Justin Fitzpatrick, co-founder and COO of Duedil, will step down from his role as Non-Executive Director on 30th November 2017 after three years at Innovate Finance. Sue Hunter will join the board as Non-Executive Director from 1st November 2017.
Additionally, Abdul Haseeb Basit will step down on 30th November 2017 as Chief Financial Officer and Executive Director. Janine Hirt, formerly Ecosystem Director will join the Innovate Finance board as Chief Operating Officer and Executive Director effective 1st November 2017.
Innovate Finance said that Hunter brings extensive knowledge to the organization. With over two decades of experience in private equity investment, she is Chair of the investment committee of Frog Capital, a leading growth capital investor focused on technology-led businesses in Europe. She is also chairman of Tracesa, an innovative technology development company, and a trustee of a Kent charity for adults with learning difficulties called The Scotts Project Trust.
Natalie Ceeney, Chair of Innovate Finance, commented, that Fitzpatrick has been with the organization since its launch
