On Wednesday, Indiegogo announced it has formed a new partnership with Ingram Micro Commerce in order to help entrepreneurs with fulfillment. According to the global crowdfunding platform, Ingram Micro Commerce will offer qualified entrepreneurs on its portal preferred pricing discounts on order fulfillment, shipping services, packaging, and warehousing solutions, as well as a suite of commerce enablement and growth services.
According to Indiegogo, the collaboration with Ingram Micro Commerce is to give entrepreneurs access to fulfillment expertise and resources so that they can easily conquer their fulfillment challenges and get backers their perks faster. Entrepreneurs who are using Ingram Micro Commerce’s services may save valuable time and money, and now those benefits will be passed on to backers. Speaking about the partnership, David Mandelbrot, CEO of Indiegogo, stated:
“This new partnership is another step toward Indiegogo empowering entrepreneurs to fulfill and deliver their products to backers with ease, whether they’ve just launched their first product or are scaling their business. Backers of the innovative products from the entrepreneurs in this program will now be able to receive their items more quickly and more reliably thanks to the myriad of resources offered to entrepreneurs from Ingram Micro.”
Indiegogo then added:
“We’re a one-stop destination for anyone bringing creative projects from concept to market, and we work with entrepreneurs beyond the crowdfunding stage to help them successfully deliver their product to you. With Indiegogo Marketplace, as well as exclusive collaborations with Arrow Electronics, IBM, and Brookstone, we support entrepreneurs throughout the lifecycle of their projects, from ideation and product development to fulfillment and distribution–so you can back the projects you love and get access to perks before anyone else.”
