Bistro Planet describes its marketplace as a three-pronged technology platform that allows food truck users to book lot rentals and manage business operations while consumers look to find their favorite food trucks and improve their food truck experiences. Bistro Planet noted that that platform is currently and generating revenue across California (Los Angeles/Orange Counties and the San Francisco Bay Area) and in Spokane, Washington and other select markets nationwide.

- A vending lot and event booking portal that matches food truck owners with commercial landlords at the most profitable locations.
- A food truck point-of-sale (POS) system for sales tracking, supply planning, payment processing, geo-mapping, data analytics, and marketing.
- A mobile consumer app that helps customers locate nearby trucks, browse menus, order, pre-pay and avoid waiting in line.
Bistro Planet Co-Founder and CEO Roie Edery, also commented:

All funds raised through the SeedInvest funding round will be used to enhance and market the technology platform, which is already helping food truck owners and customers. It is set to close later this winter.
