On Wednesday, Canada’s OneEleven announced the participants of their Insurtech Growth Program. The startup community announced in January it was joining forces with insurance company Aviva Canada to support the success of growing Canadian insurtech companies. The program, which runs for four months, will provide the selected companies with recourse and networks they need to scale and grow their ventures. OneEleven declared:
“We’re happy to announce that community members Maple and Soundpays were invited to participate in our InsurTech Growth Program in partnership with Aviva Canada! The program also welcomes the amazing founders of Ratehub.ca, WealthTab, and MapYourProperty, These five scaleups offer a wide range of solutions to the InsurTech ecosystem reaching healthcare, financial and commercial real estate services. We look forward to working with Aviva Canada to help these companies scale their products further over the next four months.”
Amanda Filipe, Manager of Partnerships at OneEleven, reportedly stated:

The program’s schedule is as follows:
- Mentoring sessions: April 16 and 17, 2018
- Workshop 1: April 30, 2018
- Workshop 2: May 16, 2018
- Progress presentations: May 25, 2018
- Workshop 3: June 4, 2018
- Final pitch to Aviva Ventures: July 18, 2018
