Hong Kong-based cryptocurrency platform CRYPTO.com announced on Thursday three key hires to its leadership team. The digital currency portal reported that Adrienne Wong was appointed as Senior Vice President of Head of Product, Cerulean Hu was named Lead Blockchain Engineer, and Ivan Stefanovas was appointed Senior Vice President of Risk Management.
Wong notably joins the CRYPTO.com team from Square, where she managed global strategy and market launch for the company’s product, Square Point of Sale. She also led in the expansion efforts in Canada, UK, Australia, and U.S. Hu reportedly has a strong background in both blockchain and traditional financial services. She previously developed easy-to-use and robust financial products and systems. Her recently position was lead engineer at Equichain. Stefanovas has more than 10 years of experience in risk management in multiple sectors of the only payments ecosystem. His background also includes digital wallets
Speaking about her new role at CRYPTO.com, Wong stated:
“I’m excited to be part of a team that is working to revolutionize the financial services industry and make cryptocurrency a key part of people’s lives. I’m keen to bring my background in financial services product strategy to the company as we launch our product suite globally.”
Stefanovas added:

The appointments of Wong, Hu, and Stefanovas come just a little over a month after CRYPTO.com was rebranded from Monaco and unveiled its new MCO Visa Card portfolio along with MCO Private Services. As previously reported, the updated card portfolio will now include three new offerings, which are Icy White (new 5,000 MCO Tier), Jade Green, and Royal Indigo. At the time of the launch, Kris Marszalek, Co-Founder and CEO of CRYPTO.com, stated:
“We’re pleased to introduce our updated portfolio of MCO Visa Cards along with a full suite of services, including an exclusive cryptocurrency concierge service, MCO Private.”
