Coinme Appoints Chris Rolling As New CFO

Coinme, a financial services and blockchain technology company, announced on Wednesday it has appointed Chris Rolling as its new CFO. According to Coinme, Rolling has more than thirty years of executive-level experience at public and private companies around the globe. He is set to help Coinme continue its mission to help the world gain access to virtual currency.

According to Coinme, Rolling was most recently a partner at Ernst & Young (EY) in Hong Kong, where he was responsible for mergers and acquisitions advisory services and private equity value creation initiatives across the Asia-Pacific region. Prior to joining EY, Rolling held many executive positions, which includes Partner and Managing Director with Sailing Capital, CFO of Getty Images, CFO of Aventail, and a regional CFO at the Kellogg Company and PepsiCo. Speaking about Rolling’s appointment, Coinme co-founder and CEO, Neil Bergquist, stated:

“Chris brings wide-ranging experience through his work in a variety of roles with both Fortune 500 companies and high-growth businesses like ours. His expertise in global expansion and financial management will be invaluable as Coinme continues to expand its presence and cryptocurrency services throughout the U.S. and Asia.”

Rolling then added:

“Cryptocurrency has the ability to transform the way we conduct business and bring new benefits to both the corporate world and the global mainstream public. Coinme is in an ideal position to provide the necessary financial infrastructure to make this a reality, and I look forward to applying my experience to the company’s mission and its continued success.”

Meanwhile, Coinme reported that it is currently preparing to expand into Asia.
