Wirecard Announces Cooperation Agreement With BASF Digital Farming to Provide Digital Services For Farming Solution Xarvio

Germany-based global provider of digital payments and commerce solutions Wirecard recently announced it has formed a cooperation agreement with BASF Digital Farming GmbH, Münster, Germany, to provide digital payment services for the company’s latest farming solution.

According to Wirecard, xarvio Field Manager of BASF is a commercial digital product to optimize crop production. To receive field-specific timing and dosing of agricultural inputs, farmers will now use Wirecard’s payment ecosystem to process Visa and Mastercard payments worldwide.  Wirecard will also provide a customized end-to-end solution created for xarvio digital products, which will facilitate subscription payments for users worldwide, and offer a secure, transparent and efficient payment processing service.  Speaking about the agreement, Andre-Georg Girg, Global Head Commercial Operations Digital Farming at BASF, stated:
