Coinsource Forms New Partnership With Maker Foundation For Dai Support & Remittance Network

Coinsource, a bitcoin ATM network, announced on Wednesday it has formed a partnership with Maker Foundation for Dai support, as well as a remittance network. Throughout the rollout, Coinsource will be updating all of its machines to allow customers to buy, sell, and store Dai stablecoins.

“This upgrade will provide customers with a means to control their finances without the dangers of token volatility and without the need for a bank account.”

While sharing details about the partnership,  Sheffield Clark, CEO of Coinsource, stated:

“With our mission to offer a full suite of simple and easy financial services to the underserved banking population, we are very excited to integrate Dai and partner with the Maker Foundation to help bring this to fruition. By offering support for Dai, we can provide the benefits of crypto to customers who are without access to bank accounts, while at the same time allowing them to avoid the price volatility typically associated with today’s often fluctuating crypto markets.”

Steven Becker, President and COO of the Maker Foundation, went on to add:

“Coinsource provides an important crypto onramp for people previously sidelined by the modern global financial infrastructure. Maker aims to level the economic playing field for everybody, so it’s critical for us to partner with organizations that offer access to financial alternatives that are as decentralized, permissionless, and as empowering as possible.”
