Onfido, a global identity verification provider, announced on Wednesday the launch of its new international partner program to expand the reach of its identity verification service and promote new identity verification use cases. Onfido reported partners will be provided AI-powered ID verification services as part of their product portfolios include leading cybersecurity and Identity Access Management (IAM) firms, ForgeRock, IDEMIA, and iovation.
“In addition, Visa is now offering Onfido in its marketplace. Onfido’s end-to-end IDV service helps keep fraudsters off its customers’ platforms by verifying new users at the point of sign-up with a selfie and a photo of their identity document (ID). The Onfido Partner Program provides the tools, technical guidance and support required to integrate Onfido’s award-winning identity verification service into existing fraud prevention, UX and compliance tool kits, enabling enterprises to offer a more comprehensive digital identity management, KYC/AML and/or fraud solution.”
While sharing more details about the partnership program, Ed Ackerman, Director of Alliances and Partnerships at Onfido, stated:

With some of the biggest enterprise names already signed up to our program, we’re now selecting additional applications from companies to join and share in exciting new revenue-generating opportunities.”
Onfido went on to add that the program consists of four partner channels: technology and commercial resellers, system integrators and a referral program. Each program provides partners the ability to offer Onfido services direct to their customers, either by embedding Onfido into their own cloud/SaaS offering or by co-selling as a combined solution stack.
