Coinbase Teams Up With DustAid to Facilitate Crypto Donalds to NSPCC & Other Organizations This Christmas

Cryptocurrency exchange platform Coinbase announced earlier this week it has partnered with DustAid to enable customers to donate crypto to three charities this Christmas. According to Coinbase, DustAid is an organization that facilitates crypto donations to projects across the globe.

This partnership will allow Coinbase users in the UK to donate crypto to these important causes:

  • NSPCC: A UK children’s charity that seeks to keep young people safe from abuse
  • The Little Edi Foundation: Provides support and grants to struggling rural communities in Romania
  • Space for Giants: This works to protect and secure the future of elephants and their landscapes

Speaking about the collaboration, Louise Corden, NSPCC Lead Digital Producer, stated:

“Raising funds via cryptocurrency highlights how the NSPCC is continually exploring new ways to enable people to donate to the charity and contribute to our fight for every childhood. We are really grateful for the backing we have received from DustAid and Coinbase, and we now hope that users of cryptocurrency go to their platforms to make a festive donation to Childline.”

Duncan Murray, Managing Director of DustAid, added:

We firmly believe that by using blockchain technology we can help charities positively impact people all over the world. DustAid’s mission is to make giving a simple, easy and transparent part of our daily lives. We are really proud to be working with leading organisations like Coinbase and NSPCC to make this a reality and to help children be heard this Christmas.”
