Crypto.com Begins Shipping MCO Visa Debit Cards to Customers in the UK

Hong Kong-based cryptocurrency platform Crypto.com announced on Monday it is officially shipping MCO Visa debit cards to the UK. The platform reported that the MCO Visa Card range features metal cards with no annual or monthly fees, up to 5 percent cryptocurrency cashback on everyday transactions, airport lounge access for select cards, no-fee ATM withdrawals, tap-and-pay functionality, and competitive interbank rates. MCO Visa Cards work anywhere Visa is accepted.

Speaking about the shipping, Kris Marszalek, Co-Founder and CEO of Crypto.com, stated:

“We’re pleased to launch the MCO Visa Card in Europe, our largest market. We began shipping in the UK, with the rest of Europe to follow suit progressively over the next few weeks.”

Crypto.com further noted that reservations for the MCO Visa Card are made using its mobile app, which allows users to select their desired card and complete a three-minute on boarding process to register. Crypto.com added:

“Using the app, customers are able to manage their card usage, transactions, with the ability to freeze or unfreeze their card with a single tap.”

Founded in 2016, Crypto.com is aiming to accelerate the “world’s transition” to cryptocurrency. Its key products include the Crypto.com App, the MCO Visa Card, and the Crypto.com Chain. The platform recently announced it has reduced withdrawal fees for a total of 12 cryptocurrencies.
