Fiserv, Inc. (NASDAQ: FISV), a global provider of financial services technology solutions, has revealed that it will be enhancing its omni-commerce capabilities with its acquisition of Bypass Mobile, an enterprise-grade point-of-sale (PoS) systems service provider.
The financial terms of the transactions have not been shared publicly.
Bypass Mobile offers various back-office management tools and rich insights engines for sports and entertainment platforms, major restaurants, and foodservice management companies.
The company already had an existing business relationship with Fiserv, as over 50 large stadiums and arenas are currently using a combination of technologies developed by both firms.
Fiserv’s management noted that the acquisition will help customers by making it easier for them to perform tasks, as services can now be accessed through a single provider. Users can take advantage of increased operational efficiency and enhanced security features.

Earlier this month, Fiserv acquired MerchantPro Express, an Independent Sales Organization (ISO) that offers various processing services, advanced point-of-sale (POS) equipment and merchant cash advances to businesses across the United States. Fiserv said that the acquisition was part of its strategy to expand its merchant services business and grow its partner-based distribution.
