U.S. Fintech Dwolla Appoints Former PayScape President Brady Harris as New CEO

U.S.-based fintech Dwolla announced on Tuesday it has appointed former PayScape President, Brady Harris, as its new CEO.

According to Dwolla, Harris brings nearly 20 years of leadership in the payments and fintech space. Dwolla claims that during his time at PayScape, Harris had a proven track record of unlocking company value through implementing enterprise growth strategies and maximizing business efficiencies. The company further stated:

“With a history of success in accelerating ‘go-to-market’ distribution, Harris brings a breadth of knowledge in the FinTech industry and experience in scaling businesses that will prove to be crucial for Dwolla at this time of accelerated growth.”

Dwolla Founder and CEO, Ben Milne, will now support the company in multiple capacities, including as a member of the board.

Founded in 2008, Dwolla stated it enables businesses to programmatically send and receive funds. The company currently supports more than $10 billion a year in gross payment volume, increasing 100% YoY.
