Digital asset exchange Bitfinex announced on Friday it has made multiple improvements to the group chats feature on Bitfinex Pulse.
As previously reported, Bitfinex Pulse is a social network tailored to meet the needs of crypto traders, providing Bitfinex’s growing customer base with the opportunity to leverage the exchange’s community to get a trading edge. The improvements of Bitfinex Pulse’s group chats come just a little over a month after Bitfinex launched Bitfinex Pulse on mobile, which will enable the exchange’s growing user base to obtain market-moving information on the go. Speaking about the improvements, Bitfinex’s team stated:
“You can view the number of group members without having to open the group as it is shown at the top of the group chats. Accessing group chats from Bitfinex Pulse side panel will now feature the dropdown menu with Group Info or Leave Group options. This functionality was previously only visible in group chats accessed from the main Bitfinex Pulse page.”
The team also noted that all group avatars also have an icon that provides users with a more significant distinction between a direct or group message within the Recent Messages section. The Groups button turns green when users hover over the button for easier navigation.
“Aside from the improved group chat features, the latest update also changes the default privacy setting of new pulses to public for verified users.”
Bitfinex went on add that more updates on Bitfinex Pulse can be expected in the future.
“In the end, all we want is to give traders the best social trading experience possible through Bitfinex Pulse.”
