OurCrowd, a leading online investment marketplace, has partnered with SALT on a series of discussions called the Pandemic Venture Investment Series starting October 29.
SALT is a global thought leadership forum and networking platform encompassing finance, technology, and geopolitics.
According to OurCrowd, each episode will feature top investment and business leaders discussing the challenges and opportunities arising from the COVID-19 crisis and how innovation can help us thrive and survive. The series is expected to showcase new technologies, addressing issues from coronavirus prevention and cure, to social distancing and food supply.
The first episode, Investing in the Pandemic and the New Normal, OurCrowd Founder and CEO Jon Medved will discuss business strategies with Alec Ellison, the Chairman of OurCrowd in the U.S. and former Vice Chairman of Jefferies, and Steve Krausz, Managing Partner of US Venture Partners.
Future episodes will feature individuals discussing the innovations now being developed by startup technology companies to combat the challenges of the pandemic in the areas of health, cybersecurity, Fintech, home fitness, artificial intelligence (AI), food technology, supply-chain solutions and more.
A preview will be aired on Tuesday, October 27 with SALT Chairman Anthony Scaramucci in conversation with Jon Medved.
