U.S.-based insurtech TrustLayer recently announced it has been named strategic partner for MarshBerry’s connect platform. According to TrustLayer, the connect platform is a new category of independent distribution that helps insurance firms leverage scope, scale, and resources to maximize growth through business intelligence, resource optimization, and partner alignment.
While sharing details about the partnership, David Soforenko, MarshBerry Executive Vice President Connect Platform, stated:
“Adding TrustLayer to our arsenal of benefits for Connect Platform members continues on our promise to bring best-in-class strategic partners to the table. TrustLayer’s capabilities of automating the management and verification of Certificates of Insurance (COI) with AI and machine learning will continue to differentiate our unique model to the insurance distribution marketplace.”
John Fohr, Co-Founder and CEO of TrustLayer, also revealed:
“Extending TrustLayer’s reach to agencies and brokers that are committed to driving industry-leading organic growth and remaining fiercely independent made our decision to become a strategic partner with MarshBerry’s Connect Platform easy. We are thrilled to be able to extend our reach and help member firms continue to provide an enhanced customer experience for all stakeholders.”
Founded in 2018, TrustLayer claims to be a collaborative risk management platform that helps reduce friction between businesses.
“We automate the verification of insurance, licenses, and compliance documents that you receive from your business partners (vendors, subcontractors, suppliers, borrowers, tenants,…), building trust between you and all of your counter parties.”
