Accelerated Payments Appoints Manager to Boost Invoice Finance

Accelerated Payments has appointed Peter Thomas as Business Development Manager to boost utilization of its invoice financing service.

Thomas began his career in investment management. The company explains that he noticed that Fintechs were disrupting the lending space by supporting SMEs not catered for by traditional banks and soon moved from advising individual investors on their portfolios to working with business owners.

“We are thrilled to have Peter join our team,” said Ian Duffy, CEO, Accelerated Payments. “His broad range of experience, along with his real passion for assisting entrepreneurs with their growth strategy, will help us to support SMEs during these volatile times.”

Since launching in 2017, Accelerated Payments says it has funded 23,000 invoices to 350 clients since its inception, helping SMEs manage their cash-flow.  As well as funding the invoices,  the firm also credit insures the debtors, giving extra peace of mind should there be any issues with the settlement.

The company’s clients are based in North America, UK, Ireland, and other European countries.

Based in Dublin, with offices in London and Toronto, Accelerated Payments addresses the problem of cash flow for businesses through a flexible and innovative invoice finance service.
