Digital asset firm Arca has announced the launch of the Arca Accredited Investor (AI) Bitcoin Trust.
The new investment vehicle is designed for accredited investors who see to control their own Bitcoin allocation. An accredited investor is broadly defined by an individual that earns $200,000 or more a year. Alternatively, the person must have a net worth of over $1 million not including a primary residence. If married, the income metric increases to $300,000.
The Arca AI Bitcoin Trust is said to offer a cost-effective, convenient, and simple way to manage Bitcoin. Requiring a minimum investment of $25,000, the Trust incorporates a 0.45% management fee. Redemptions are available daily.
Fidelity Digital Assets has been appointed as the custodian to store the Trust’s Bitcoin using proprietary technological and physical security methods, including “cold storage.”
