Global Payment Infrastructure Provider Dapi Launches Bank Payment Initiation and Account Data Aggregation Services in Mexico

 

Dapia global payment infrastructure, recently announced the launch of its payment initiation and account data aggregation services in Mexico.

Founded in 2019,  Dapi is a real-time banking API that enables companies to accept bank transfer payment within any application instantly with near-zero cost. The company’s mission is to simplify bank payment and reduce online processing fees. Dapi claims it is the first company in Mexico to offer free account data aggregation services to companies that use the payment API to accept payments.

Dapi Co-Founder and CEO, Ahmed Agour, also revealed that in the past six months, the company has focused on making its payment infrastructure available to fintechs and enterprises through the expansion in the U.S. and Mexico:

“Fintech payment ecosystems are now being built on Dapi infrastructure in multiple regions. We can have the same impact in Mexico by enabling a wide range of in-app payment use-cases, including digital banks, digital wallets, P2P payment applications, crypto exchanges, custodians, and merchants.”

Agour further stated Mexico is a significant market of over 120m people with a vibrant fintech community and an amicable regulatory environment, as seen with the Financial Technology Institutions Act (2018).
