Singapore-based SME finance platform Validus has announced the appointment of Alfred Aloysius as Head of Strategic Alliances.
According to Validus, Aloysius has more than 25 years of supply chain experience having previously held management positions as Chief Procurement Officer at SMRT Corporation, and VP of Global Procurement at ComfortDelGro, before moving to SATS as Head of Global Sourcing & Procurement.
At Validus, Aloysius will be responsible for deepening existing and forging new partnerships in support of Validus’ supply chain financing focus, which aims to boost SME lending in crucial supply chains in construction, healthcare, industrial goods, and machinery sectors.

Validus recently selected additional senior hires including Han Weiguang, Head of Operations, and Kriti Sama, Head of Sales.
Validus notes that in the last six months its staff in Singapore has grown by 20% following strong growth and regional expansion.
