Visa Expands Fintech Partner Connect Program By Launching Digital-First Banking & Payment Experience For Clients

Visa (NYSE:V) announced on Wednesday it has expanded its Visa Fintech Partner Connect, which is a program designed to help financial institutions connect with a vetted and curated set of technology providers, by launching digital-first banking and payment experiences for clients.

According to Visa, Fintech Partner Connect may help issuing partners create digital-first experiences without the cost and complexity of building the back-end technology in-house. Initially launched in Europe, Visa Fintech Partner Connect is now available to clients in the U.S and in markets across Asia Pacific, Central Europe, the Middle East, Africa, Latin America, and the Caribbean.

“With Visa Fintech Partner Connect, Visa clients can discover technology and service providers offering tools and solutions across the customer journey. Visa clients can get in touch with program partners through the Visa Partner website and receive benefits such as reduced implementation fees and pricing discounts.”

While sharing more details about the program, Terry Angelos, Senior Vice President and Global Head of Fintech at Visa, stated:

“In today’s climate, building a competitive financial product requires more technology than ever before. Consumers want seamless interactions across mobile and web, and they want access to a greater suite of digital banking capabilities. We’ve assembled a community of payment and banking technology platforms to streamline the discovery and procurement process for our clients—with the ultimate goal of accelerating adoption of digital-first innovations.”
