Digital payments platform Wirex announced on Monday it has teamed up with digital collectible platform Terra Virtua for exclusive non-fungible tokens (NFTs) giveaway. Wirex reported it will give away 500 exclusive Terra Virtua vFlect NFTs, as well as up to $500,000 worth of cryptocurrency in promotions throughout June.
“With a mission to empower everyone to have access to the benefits of crypto, Wirex are enabling their userbase of over 3.5 million to access the latest exciting application in blockchain technology. NFTs have gained considerable traction in the DeFi space recently due to their ability to verify ownership of assets and demonstrate transparency.”
Wirex also reported that between June 7th and 14th, customers that upgrade to Premium or Elite on their X-tras programme will receive a code to unlock access to an exclusive, limited edition Wirex-branded vFlect from Terra Virtua, named WireXX and WireXY. While sharing more details about the giveaway, Georgy Sokolov, Co-Founder and VP of Partnerships at Wirex, stated:

As previously reported, Wirex is a UK FCA-licenced global digital payment platform that has forged new rules in the digital money arena. The company also claims it is the only platform that allows access to OTC and interbank rates for crypto and traditional currency exchanges respectively, ensuring the platform’s users always get the best deal. The platform recently raised £3,701,909 through its equity crowdfunding campaign on Crowdcube and it now has 3.5 million customers.
