Broadridge Financial Solutions to Utilize Operating System for Financial Desktops from OpenFin

Enhancing the overall productivity and efficiency of its trading and portfolio management services for its asset management clients, Broadridge Financial Solutions, Inc. (NYSE: BR), a global Fintech firm, will be utilizing OpenFin’s operating system for financial desktops.

As noted in an update from Broadridge, the new digital workspace solution will allow asset managers using the company’s portfolio and order management system to benefit from componentized applications.

These apps have “highly” configurable layouts as well as user-friendly workflows. Traders and portfolio managers can effectively manage their desktop real estate while reducing the effort and time needed to navigate several different windows and screens. Rich notifications should also keep users informed with important insights.

Eric Bernstein, President of Broadridge Asset Management, stated:

“In this ever-evolving digital environment, clients are increasingly looking for flexibility and the ability to adapt their workspaces to meet their unique needs. OpenFin’s leading system, combined with our open architecture, will eliminate user friction and is another example of how we are setting the industry standard for flexible and adaptable next-gen investment operations.”

Mazy Dar, CEO of OpenFin, remarked:

“We’re excited to be a strategic partner with Broadridge, helping clients accelerate and adapt to advanced digital workspace solutions. Providing an adaptable interface customizable to user preferences will help Broadridge’s clients boost productivity and simplify the investment management process.”

As covered last month, US-based Broadridge Financial Solutions, a tech solutions provider, revealed that it had managed to acquire AdvisorStream, a leading provider of digital engagement and marketing solutions for the international wealth and insurance sectors.

The terms of the transaction have not been shared publicly.

The acquisition will aim to further expand Broadridge‘s existing front-to-back office wealth management services, positioning the Fintech to better address growth-oriented advisors and companies planning to attract and engage prospects and customers across a wide range of digital channels.

AdvisorStream’s advisor marketing solution allows financial advisors to support revenue and growth by offering customized and consistent customer communications.
