AI: Cybersecurity Firm DarkTrace Reveals “Major” Conract with US Firm

DarkTrace (DARK.L), a cybersecurity firm that leverages artificial intelligence (AI), has announced a “major contract” with an unnamed firm. According to a statement by DarkTrace, it is now providing services to a US-based entity that is one of the world’s largest investment management firms.

“The financial services sector remains Darktrace’s most significant industry sector, and we are delighted to welcome another major firm to our growing customer community, as we continue to redefine enterprise security with Self-Learning AI,” stated Poppy Gustafsson OBE, Darktrace’s CEO.

Headquartered in Cambridge, UK, DarkTrace claims over 6000 customers from around the world. These firms utilize DarkTrace to guard agains advanced threats, including ransomware as well as cloud and SaaS attacks.

DarkTrace notes that today’s announcement follows a multi-million-dollar upsell with another major US investment management company.

DarkTrace states that both companies have adopted a broad suite of solutions across Darktrace’s detect, respond and investigate product families.

DarkTrace went public on the LSE earlier this year. The company’s market cap is currently around $3.6 billion.
