Masterworks.io, a digital investment platform that is enabling smaller investors to participate in the art sector, has selected Equity Stock Transfer, LLC as their transfer agent for securities issued by their platform.
Masterworks leverages the Reg A+ securities exemption to offer fractionalized art investments and has been doing pretty well with the crowdfunding platform. By providing access to the alternative investment class with art by big names like Banksy, Jean-Michel Basquiat, Andy Warhol, Monet and more, Masterworks has gained unicorn status.
Not too long ago, Masterworks raised $110 million in Series A funding backed by names like Left Lane Capital, Galaxy Interactive (a division of Galaxy Digital), and more.
