Financial Messaging Solution Provider Aqua Global Introduces Aquila Product Suite

Aqua Global has been offering financial messaging solutions for more than 35 years, specializing in straight through processing for payments along with treasury and securities processing.

Aqua’s newest suite Aquila has evolved from the successes/progress of its e2gen suite, but unlike e2gen, which was mainly IBM I based, Aquila is reportedly “platform agnostic.”

The suite offers messaging functionality for SWIFT FIN and ISO 20022 messaging requirements, as well as Account Reconciliations, Message Matching, Duplicate Detection and an ISO 20022 Translation tool.

All of the modules are incorporated into a single integrated solution that eliminates the requirement for different servers and apps. These modules co-exist within a single shared database and are provided as a complete solution.

Nick Fernando, Aqua Global’s Sales Director, stated:

“Banks globally are challenged by changes to local and international messaging standards that affect processing for automation, reconciliation and matching. All message standard changes are maintained as part of the service within Aquila which offers a secure, flexible, and low cost solution to provide a future proof framework for managing these processes effectively. Aquila requires minimal training and is available as a cloud native or on premise deployment.”

Aquila has reportedly been deployed in the United Kingdom and across Europe.

Gavin Kirkman, Aqua Global’s Business Development Manager commented on the reasons behind the steady progress:

“Launching a product using the latest technologies has enabled us to create a solution that can be both deployment agnostic, and designed with the flexibility for its users to embrace upcoming industry changes. We want our customers to benefit from the upcoming industry changes such as ISO 20022 message adoption, without the requirement for upgrades or lengthy implementations.”

As noted by its management ,Aqua Global’s “highly scalable” suite of solutions aquila and e2gen “automate the entire transaction lifecycle from trade through to settlement.”

All business modules “co-exist within a single shared database and are delivered as a complete solution.” This allows customers “to utilize new modules quickly and easily at a pace that suits their business requirements.”
