QED Investors has appointed Melissa Ho as its lead in Southeast Asia as the Fintech VC focuses on the hot Asian market.
QED is one of the leading Fintech venture capital firms in the world. Ho, based in Singapore, will be looking for Fintech firms across stages with an emphasis on early-stage companies.
Ho previously led the investment team at Wavemaker Partners, investing in Deeptech, Enterprise, and Sustainability. She covered the markets in Singapore, Indonesia, Malaysia and Bangladesh.
HO is a graduate of New York University with a BA in Economics / International Relations.
Sandeep Patil, QED’s Head of Asia, described Ho as a “driven and energetic investor and a determined and intentional partner,” calling her a “brilliant addition.”
Founded in 2007, QED Investors has invested in more than 200 companies, including 28 unicorns, and has $4.3 billion under management.
