GMO Aozora Net Bank, Ltd. becomes the first bank partner in Japan with Wise Platform, bringing fast, low-cost international payments to more than 80,000 corporate customers

The team at Wise says they’re announcing their first Wise Platform bank partnership in Japan with GMO Aozora Net Bank, Ltd.

With their combined expertise in “moving money globally and banking services, they’re bringing fast, convenient and low-cost international transfer services to more than 80,000* corporate customers.”

GMO Aozora Net Bank is Wise Platform’s fifth banking partner in Asia “alongside Hong Kong’s ZA Bank, Indonesia’s Bank Mandiri, Singapore’s Aspire and South Korea’s Shinhan Bank.”

With Wise’s experience in processing instant cross-border payments, GMO Aozora Bank customers can even expect their payments “to be paid out in as little as 2 minutes.”

This means businesses can better “manage their invoicing and supplier payment needs.”

With this in mind, their dedicated Wise Platform delivery team “supported GMO Aozora Net Bank through all stages of the delivery cycle to bring this new product to launch.”
