Italian bank Intesa Sanpaolo has launched a new digital bank Isybank.
“With the launch of Isybank, the digital transformation of Intesa Sanpaolo continues, which sees this project as one of the pillars of the 2022-2025 Business Plan”, said Carlo Messina, Managing Director and CEO of Intesa Sanpaolo.
He described it as a step toward making their company an example of best practices and a break form the past. Messina added that it will allow the bank to become a “leader in the European market,”
Intesa Sanpaolo is utilizing the services of Thought Machine for its core banking technology.
Intesa Sanpaolo is also planning to provide €5 billion in investment for technology and growth.
