Estate planning is another financial service sector that receives a digital update. Trust & Will is making headway in this area of Fintech, today announcing an agreement with UBS Workplace Wealth Solutions to provide services.
Trust & Will will provide the ability to create wills and trusts online and customize legal estate planning documents. Trust & Will highlights that it uses bank-level encryption that protects customer data and complies with the highest security standards.
To date, Trust & Will reports that it has helped nearly 500,000 families set up an estate plan to create a legacy.
Cody Barbo, CEO and founder of Trust & Will, said the pandemic has shifted expectations as to what types of services employers provide in regards to benefits – including retirement and services like theirs.
UBS in-house research states that 68% of employees agree that companies have a responsibility to help them achieve high levels of financial wellness, especially the younger generations.
“We look forward to helping employees of our corporate clients gain access to Trust & Will’s digital estate planning capabilities, which will provide them with greater control over their financial lives,” said Michael Barry, Head of UBS Workplace Wealth Solutions. “Many individuals do not have up-to-date wills or estate plans, and access to these tools will help them prepare for the future, shape their legacies, and provide a degree of support and clarity for their loved ones.”
