Backbase, the Engagement Banking Platform, is pleased to announce the extension of its strategic partnership with BRD, Romania’s third largest bank and a part of Groupe Société Générale.
As BRD’s long-term innovation partner, Backbase will aim to “enhance the digital banking services and deliver exceptional experiences to BRD’s extensive customer base.”
Backbase’s long-term collaboration with BRD “was reaffirmed through the selection process.”
Considering the next steps in their digital transformation journey, BRD ran “a proof of concept with Backbase, which grew into collaborating to deliver production-ready capabilities.”
Already, the effective partnership “is attracting new customers for BRD’s retail and SME banking.”
As part of the extended collaboration, BRD will leverage Backbase’s platform to enhance services and “reach across customer segments.”
The partnership “includes implementing Backbase‘s comprehensive suite of solutions, such as Digital Onboarding, Digital Banking, Digital Assist, and Digital Engage – Premium, catering not only to retail banking customers but also to SME customers.”
