UBS (NYSE:UBS) announced that it and Numarics are planning to enter into a strategic partnership to specifically digitize and expand financial and administration solutions for small and medium-sized companies in Switzerland.
Administrative tasks mean “a lot of time for SMEs today and are often a challenge in everyday life.”
Thanks to the partnership, SMEs will in future “have access to solutions that seamlessly combine and simplify accounting, fiduciary solutions and banking services – the focus is on the consistent mobile-first user approach.”
At the same time, UBS Next, “the venture and innovation unit of UBS, is an investor in Numarics.”
Alain Conte, Head of Corporate & Institutional Clients Switzerland at UBS, said:
“The planned strategic partnership with Numarics is another important milestone in the development of new and integrated offerings and the expansion of the UBS ecosystem for SMEs. The offers are intended to go beyond the traditional banking business and help SMEs to organize their day-to-day business efficiently.”
UBS says that it is a strong partner “for SMEs in Switzerland and has continuously expanded its offering in recent years.”
Since 2022, UBS has been “offering its clients products and services from selected partner companies on the UBS marketplace that make everyday business easier for SMEs.”
The expansion of this partner ecosystem is “one of the main strategic priorities of UBS Switzerland.”
Open and standardized interfaces are “used here in a targeted manner and enable simple technical integration with existing and new partners.”
This approach creates “a holistic range of digital financial solutions that small and medium-sized companies can put together individually and tailor to their needs.”
