Learn.xyz, a startup focusing on generative AI in education, has unveiled its innovative, AI-driven social learning app for iOS and Android platforms. This launch coincides with the company’s successful $3 million Seed funding.
The new app, catering to a worldwide audience, offers the unique ability for users to delve into any topic in almost any language. It is an embodiment of generative AI’s power to democratize education.

The app’s design, which aims to make learning engaging and communal, merges the user-centricity of platforms like Duolingo with the vast knowledge base of Wikipedia. Its core feature, dubbed “Curiosities,” crafts concise educational slides coupled with quizzes within seconds, solely based on a user’s query.
Having been in closed beta since March, the platform has witnessed the creation of over 60,000 Curiosities, encompassing diverse topics ranging from history to sports.

Blockchange Ventures spearheaded Learn.xyz’s seed funding round, with contributions from Borderless Capital, Vanagon Ventures, w3.fund, and Power of N. The round also witnessed individual investments from industry stalwarts such as LinkedIn CEO Ryan Roslansky and Go1 Founder Andrew Barnes.
The team behind Learn.xyz boasts professionals from giants like LinkedIn, Stripe, and Meta and is guided by industry luminaries including Kai Roemmelt from Udacity and Tanya Staples from LinkedIn Learning.
