American Express (NYSE:AXP) has announced a new cash management service available for SMEs. According to a release from the company, the new feature is available for business card users and aims to help them efficiently manage their cash flows, plan future finances through external account integration, data analytics, personalized insights and notifications, as well as expedited payments and advanced planning options.
Gina Taylor, EVP and GM of American Express Business Blueprint and Banking, said the new features take their backing for SMEs one step further, simplifying the running of their business.
The digital cash flow management hub, or American Express Business Blueprint, is now available for its business card holders. The service allows for external accounts to be linked to the service for an aggregate vantage point for cash management. At the same time, Amex said Business Checking is receiving an upgrade as funds are accessible more quickly, and scheduling future payments may now take place up to one year in advance.
