CoinList Seed Teams Up with Lattice, an Early-Stage Crypto Venture Fund

Digital asset platform CoinList recently announced that it has opened up applications for CoinList Seed Winter 2024.

CoinList explains that this initiative is intended for development teams that are interested in  getting their crypto projects in front of 10 million crypto “early adopters.”

For their latest cohort of CoinList Seed, they’ll reportedly be collaborating with Lattice, an early-stage crypto venture fund, with “support from crypto institutions including Solana, Optimism, zkSync, Privy, and Alchemy.”

Applications are now open for crypto entrepreneurs “interested in participating in the Winter 2024 batch of CoinList Seed.”

The deadline to apply is Feb 29, 2024.

The growth platform for crypto projects

Since launching CoinList Seed in 2020, they’ve reportedly “hosted 8 cohorts and 64 startups, including top projects such as Injective Protocol, Rabbithole, and Biconomy.”

With over 2,500 applicants to date, the acceptance rate to CoinList Seed has “been under 3%.”

While Seed was originally designed as a private fundraising platform, one common point of feedback they’ve heard from projects is “that visibility, not capital, is the most scarce resource for crypto projects.”

With that insight in mind, they’re shifting the program “away from fundraising towards growth.”

Powered by by CoinList and Lattice, the Winter 2024 cohort will “consist of a recorded demo day and resources for projects ready to connect with CoinList’s 10M+ users globally, at no cost to selected project teams.”

As clarified in the update, Seed is not…

  • An incubator
  • A platform to raise money
  • A token launchpad

Seed is a targeted growth program “designed to accelerate awareness and user acquisition for your project.”

Participants receive benefits which may include the following:

  • Hands on support from the Lattice team
  • Access to the CoinList & Lattice network of founders
  • Workshops with supporters of the program like Privy
  • $100,000 in AWS credits
  • $2,500 in Alchemy credits (Web3 development tools)
  • $2,500 in Subsquid credits (cloud)

They are looking for applications from project teams “ranging from the idea stage all the way to live products generating revenue.”

CoinList Seed cohorts occur at regular intervals and they are “interested in meeting with teams at all stages of the product development journey.”
