Marqeta (NASDAQ: MQ) has announced a new partnership with AffiniPay. The credit card platform says it will power AffiniPay’s LawPay Visa SMB credit card embedded within its MyCase platform, The card is said to be the first in the industry that helps law firms pay, track and manage firm and client expenses.
Marqeta explains that the card will help law firms and other legal professionals better manage expenses thus reducing the time need to track and reconcile.
CTO at AffiniPay Bryan Thompson said that Marqeta understands the complexity of the legal industry which is a big reason they selected the card platform.
Marqeta enables commercial card customers the ability to choose from various finance models for cardholders like net 20 charge cards, receivables, revolving credit, etc. Marqeta’s platform streamlines the card issuance and management process for users.
