StackinSat, a France based Bitcoin startup has raised €1 Million in Series A funding, in an online securiites offering backed by 250 investors. The issuer listed the offering on Soul Invest. The company reported that the funding round is the largest online offering in the crypto sector in France. In total, StackInsat has raised €2.5 million raised since inception.
Jonathan Herscovici, CEO of StackinSat, issued a statement on the round expressing his gratitude for their investors.
“This not only confirms the strength of our model, but also strengthens our determination to democratize access to Bitcoin in Europe .” Stackers play a fundamental role in StackinSat’s development strategy. As brand ambassadors, they benefit from attractive financial incentives, including a 33% retrocommission on margins, which can amount to €167 per new customer brought. This reward is among the most generous in the industry, thus reinforcing the commitment of Stackers.” [translated]
StackinSat mentioned some prominent investors by name including:
- François-Régis Bernicot, president of Suravenir (a French insurer with more than 3 million customers),
- Yves Choueifaty, president of TOBAM (a management company managing more than 6 billion dollars),
- Sébastien Gouspillou, president of BBGS (a company specializing in bitcoin mining)
- Gaspard Hafner, the co-founder of MYM, a renowned content platform, are an integral part of our community of investors
Funds raised will be used for platform growth including marketing.
StackinSat states that its ambition is to become the European leader in Bitcoin savings and investment for individuals and businesses.
Herscovici said they are committed to creating a financial ecosystem where Bitcoin is accessible to everyone.
