iLex, the loan distribution platform, announced today the appointment of Sean Tai as Head of Business Development.
Sean will lead the development, commercialization and “adoption of the iLex loan distribution platform globally and reinforce the iLex executive team in delivering its ambitious roadmap.”
Based in London, Sean brings with him “a wealth of expertise in syndicated loan markets and building widely adopted distribution platforms, along with trusted relationships with clients and trade associations.”
Sean shares iLex’s vision and long-term commitment “to transforming loan markets and working with and for the industry to deliver cutting-edge solutions powered by new technologies.”
Sean founded Debtdomain in 2000 “to become the leading primary syndication and agency platform serving over 300 institutional clients globally.”
Throughout his career, Sean has always “put clients at the heart of solution design and business strategy.”
This will continue with the open architecture and partnership DNA of iLex.
Sean recently launched the Synloans project “to assess the recent developments in the competitive landscape of loan platforms and to better understand the evolving needs of clients.”
The conclusions of this initiative will “be incorporated into the iLex strategy and product roadmap.”
Sean’s addition to the iLex team underscores the company’s ambition “to drive innovation in loan markets and become the reference next-generation distribution platform.”
