TransferGo, and Tink have announced a partnership to enable international transfers and payments call Pay by Bank.
Owned by Visa, Tink is a payments and transfers Fintech that is connected to over 6000 banks. Founded in Sweden, the company also provides banking and lending solutions.
Based in London and Vilnius, Transfergo is a global Fintech enabling the movement of money. The company reports more than 7 million customers, operatingin 160 different countries.
Pay by Bank is now live for TransferGo’s customers in the UK. The service is an embedded payment method powered by open banking that allows consumers to initiate payments directly from their bank account.
Simon Moran, Chief Commercial Officer at TransferGo, said Pay by Bank helps to bridge the gap for individuals currently unable to access these services.
“With the Tink partnership, we can offer a trustworthy, secure, and speedy solution, making international payments easier and creating more favourable conditions for global financial inclusivity.”
Ian Morrin, Head of Payments and Platforms at Tink, predicted that Pay by Bank will make a tangible difference to those sending money internationally.
