Trulioo, an identity platform with proven global coverage for person and business verification, announced the appointment of David Liu as senior vice president of fraud & risk.
Liu will lead the Fraud & Risk team at Trulioo with “the charge of cementing the company’s position as a fraud-prevention innovator for organizations across industries and around the world.”
Liu, who has decades of experience in fraud mitigation, will “drive best practices to help Trulioo customers navigate the landscape of digital risk and AI-generated threats.”
During his 15-year tenure at American Express, Liu rose “to vice president with a focus on fraud and risk.”
In that role, he was responsible “for implementing the company’s global fraud-prevention infrastructure.”
His efforts helped contribute to “a more than 65% reduction in fraud losses, a 75% drop in false fraud declines and a 35% decrease in false Know Your Customer declines.”
