Organized by the Edinburgh Centre for Financial Innovations and the Joint Research Centre of the European Commission, the event explores “the vital debates and cutting-edge technological innovations shaping our financial landscape.”
Featuring keynotes from FinTech and Financial Services sector thought leaders, “as well as insights from novel research and thought provoking panel discussions.”

Myles Stephenson, Founder and Chief Executive of Modulr, has been “an active member of the FinTech and Financial Services Industry Advisory Board since its inception.”
The Board meets twice “during each academic year to deliberate and offer constructive advice on a range of FinTech and financial services sector-related activities led by members of Edinburgh Centre for Financial Innovations.”
At the beginning of 2024, Myles was appointed as Co-Chair of the Board.
Modulr organized a full day of sessions “for the University of Edinburgh Business School’s MSc Finance, Technology and Policy students, giving them the opportunity to engage with a range of colleagues and businesses.”
Additionally, Modulr is engaging with the university’s MSc students “by offering them projects or challenges to form the basis of MSc dissertations.”
The partnership between Modulr and University of Edinburgh Business School fuses industry-leading FinTech experience “with academic excellence.”
Together they aim to “encourage debate and development across financial innovation, building an environment that nurtures talent, fosters creativity and takes the industry forwards.”
